CLOVE
Nearpod is an e-learning platform designed to supplement K-12 education through online lessons and activities. I was given the opportunity as a freelance illustrator and animator to work on their “Just a Minute” series, where they playfully, and concisely, introduce educational topics. These subjects ranged from math and language arts, to gender identity and social justice.
Flocabulary, their subsidiary, produces educational hip-hop music videos for a variety of subjects. I was thrilled for the opportunity to illustrate and animate their “Linking Verbs” music video under the direction of Madeleine Welsch, Christopher Camp, and the many other creative minds at Flocabulary.
TANG
MUSEUM
The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum & Art Gallery is an institution on Skidmore College's campus in Saratoga Springs, NY. It was founded on the principle that museums should be teaching spaces, where events and classes are held regularly—not only for Skidmore College students, but for the entire community. Typical events and gatherings at the Tang include college classes, guided tours, K-12 educational trips, film screenings, live music, and parties.
I worked under the creative direction of Jean Tschanz-Egger as a Design Assistant to advertise new exhibitions, promote events, and retouch photos of artworks.
